The best way to check this is to do the following test:
Cover your other eye – if you can still see well the lens must be in your eye and on the cornea.
If your vision is blurred try moving your eye up, down, left and right – if you feel something irritable the lens may be displaced under your lid and gentle massage may push it back to the front of the eye where you can remove it.
If you still cannot locate the lens ask someone else to have a look but do not hurt yourself. Alternatively contact an optometrist who will be able to help you.
