Over 20 years’ experience, Garrick is one of our highly skilled and experienced optometrist, working across Optical Express’s Northern Ireland Clinics (Londonderry/Derry, Newry and Belfast).
Garrick’s clinical knowledge and practice involves diagnosing, managing and providing treatment plans for a range of eye conditions and diseases. He provides services such as contact lens fitting, dry eye management and post and pre-operative aftercare.
He has received his qualification in Independent Prescribing (IP), enabling him to manage many eye conditions at community level without the need to refer patients to an eye Doctor at a hospital.
Garrick has also received his Professional Certificate in Glaucoma. This further education expands his knowledge of Glaucoma to not just able to detect it but to have a greater depth of understanding of how glaucoma develops and it’s surgical and pharmacological management.
