*The cost of an Essential Eye Test at Optical Express in the Republic of Ireland is €40, or €70 for an Advanced Eye Test. Medical Card holders and PRSI patients are entitled to an Essential Eye Test but may upgrade to an Advanced Eye Test and pay an upgrade fee of €30.
