COVID-19 Update

At Optical Express our first priority is the safety of our patients and employees. 

We are following Government / Public Health and Regulatory / Professional Body advice and at this time we are not carrying out any new patient consultations or routine sight tests in any of our clinics. However we will continue to provide essential or emergency clinical care for any member of the general public, either via telemedicine means or an in-clinic assessment. This would include urgent clinical advice or intervention for example for red eye, contact lens discomfort, foreign object, sudden change in vision, flashes and floaters, or where a delay in an examination may be detrimental to a patient’s sight or wellbeing.

In accordance with the guidelines, our Head Office functions are also closed, this includes our Customer Contact Centre and Finance Department. We are unable to provide normal service at this time.

If you have recently had surgery with Optical Express, we will be contacting you via SMS and/or email. Please remember to check your junk folder. For all urgent clinical enquiries please email clinicalcare@opticalexpress.com and include your full name plus date of birth. We have a limited number of clinicians available to deal with enquiries and at this difficult time we are prioritising those patients who require essential clinical care or advice. 

If your query relates to contact lens or spectacle orders, including orders paid for via direct debit, please email customerservices@opticalexpress.com including your full name and date of birth. Contact Lenses can be ordered from our website and spectacle orders are being taken for prompt home delivery.  

If you have a general enquiry which you consider urgent, please send your enquiry to information@opticalexpress.com including your full name and date of birth and someone will respond as quickly as possible. Please do not call as our phone lines are currently closed.
