British actor, presenter and former professional footballer Vinnie Jones underwent vision correction surgery at our London clinic in October 2025.

As an actor, reading is a big part of Vinnie’s job – being handed scripts and following instructions on set became difficult as he struggled to see without glasses.

He is also in the process of renovating a 400-year old farmhouse as part of his series 'Vinnie Jones in the Country'.

Our optometrist recommended lens replacement surgery and due to his individual needs, he chose to have a different lens in each eye.

He went for the TECNIS PureSee lens in his dominant eyes and the TECNIS Odyssey lens in his non-dominant eye. This combination provides the best of both worlds – sharp vision for reading, screens and driving, while reducing the chance of glare or halos at night.

This is particularly beneficial for life as an actor and for someone with a hands-on job – such as farming.

Following his treatment, Jones has achieved better than 20/20 vision.
